You are betting on Amtrak delays, Conflux stupidity, and Conflux spontaneity (though I don’t have a backup itinerary).
My itinerary:
10:18-10:55 DC-Baltimore
11:54-12:41 Baltimore-Wilmington
2:47-3:11 Wilmington-Philadelphia
5:15-6:54 Philadelphia-NY Penn Station
All are Northeast Regional except the last one which is Keystone service. They are all fully refundable flex tickets, but as I said, I don’t have any backup itineraries. I really want to be in New York asap tonight, especially since I have to take another train to Westchester.
General policy for my markets: In the rare event of a conflict between my resolution criteria and the agreed-upon common-sense spirit of the market, I may resolve it according to the market's spirit or N/A, probably after discussion.

No real delays, but a combination of stupidity and spontaneity. Left my suitcase on the train when I got off at Baltimore. Luckily my suitcase and I were both then headed to New York. But I decided that I should probably try to get to NY asap, so I cancelled my stops in Wilmington and Philadelphia and rebooked a direct train. In retrospect I don’t think there was a necessity to do this, but I am tired so I think it’s fair.
Anyway I’m in New York now!
