I run a site called Puzzles for Progress (puzzlesforprogress.net) where I post crossword/sudoku-style puzzles in groups of 3. It was weekly for 1.5 years, from July 2020 to December 2021, except for a break in August. After a break in January, it's been biweekly (every two weeks) since February 2022, so a bit over a year. In late 2022, I also had the incredible fortune of making 16 puzzles for the New York Times in parallel with PfP.

Though I don't spend as much time on PfP as I used to, I still enjoy making puzzles, and they take lots of time and creativity. This market is intended to predict my continuing productivity and enthusiasm! If PfP experiences a lot of growth, I'll also probably be more motivated. Although there is a chance that I deprioritize PfP if my puzzles get published in bigger venues.

Will I keep up my biweekly schedule for the rest of 2023, with no breaks? Specifically, to resolve YES, I'll have to post at least 3 puzzles (or "equivalent" — occasionally I've posted 1 larger puzzle, I don't want that to count against me here) on Puzzles for Progress in every pair of weeks in 2023.

Other details: Currently I have no puzzle backlog, as has been often true since like 2021 (despite the success of 9 Hours, 9 Puzzles). Maybe I'll get one this break? Also, I have around 100 email subscribers. It's hard to estimate how many solves each puzzle gets, but I think a two-digit number.

General policy for my markets: In the rare event of a conflict between my resolution criteria and the agreed-upon common-sense spirit of the market, I may resolve it according to the market's spirit or N/A, probably after discussion.

@AlexCao indeed

I just checked out this site. The Cell block (Shikaku) puzzles were addictive. Will the site continue to be up for the existing puzzles?

predicted NO

@AnthonyPeterson YOU HAVE EXACTLY EIGHT HOURS AND TWENTY SEVEN MINUTES UNTIL…the site stays up, I have no plans to take it down ;)
