"Rationality," "Ethical Altruism," & "prediction markets" all attract quite a number of fascists, including Manifold. Some are more willing than others to be honest; some hide behind the thin mask of centrism, some call themselves "Classical liberals," & still others claim to be "just a regular guy, bro."
In this poll: https://manifold.markets/ChurlishGambit/will-donald-trump-ever-face-true-ju-0CLUp5sLE2
how many people will select the option admitting their fascism? I will resolve this market within 24 hours of the poll's closure, depending on when I'm able to get around to it.
Anyone choosing the "I am a fascist..." option will be considered to be honestly selecting the option. Claims of "I picked it ironically" &c. will be ignored.
This market closes prior to the poll's closure, because it isn't really "prediction" if you can keep betting all the way until an outcome is nearly certain.
No AI summaries nor clarifications will be permitted. Slop will not be considered a reliable source for resolution. Slop comments will be hidden.
EDIT: Great clarifying question from @TenShino — If a fascist selects a different option, because they DO think Trump has done something wrong, but leave a comment clarifying that they ARE a fascist, will that count as another fascist respondent? I say, YES that does count. I do not anticipate any such responses, but they will count if they do come to be.

@traders An 11th honest fascist has revealed himself. That means that 0, and 1-10, will both resolve NO after the poll closes!
@Qoiuoiuoiu Perhaps you should have selected the "I'm a fascist" option on the poll, if you're willing to encourage people to pretend to be fascists to get play money. Deeply unsettling to read.
@ChurlishGambit I thought of that after I voted. Anyway, you made a market with a structure that could be easily manipulated 🤷
Idk why you're surprised to find people who like earning more fake internet points on a site that revolves around competing to earn fake internet points
@Qubits I think if more users saw the poll, the number would be much higher—but we've all only got another hour to predict!
