Hollywood is very careless when it comes to animated movies, tending to underappreciate the effort and work that go into these movies, and the quality of the movies, creating them their own irrelevant category and very rarley nominating them outside of said category. However, it is undeniable that if any animated movie is worthy of oscars in additional categories, it is spider-man: across the spider verse.
