Resolves YES if a humanoid robot (a robot that resembles a human and moves similar to a human) beats a ranked top 10 APT mens tennis player by the end of 2027. Otherwise, resolves NO.

The robot needs to play a full match with the player and only be recharged (no battery replacement) as often as the player does. Note that this condition may change a teeny bit according to popular opinion.

The success must be reported by a credible source to be counted. If nothing is reported by the end of 2027, this market resolves NO.

why is this market so low? I feel like there is a fair chance

@Chimpy IMO it's more a question of motive than capability

If there were whole industries dedicated to making a humanoid robot tennis player then I'd give them 75% to beat a top human within a year

But there's not really any incentive to do this except showing off. So I think it'll only happen if there's such a good general-purpose robot that it can also beat a pro at tennis despite not being specifically designed for that.
