While in September 2022 aoe 2 experienced nearly double the active users as 4, I think given 3 years time, countless bug fixes, sales, and updates/dlcs; age 4 will definitely surpass 2.

@BenGale It's possible, but the AoE II player base has been very consistent, and as of the last time I checked the difference in player base between the two is still meaningful. I think it will thin but II will remain more active.
