As many Manifolders know from the Manifold Party, I live near the entrance to the Presidio in SF (right on Lover's Lane). I live there with @EmilyFuhriman (my partner of 5 years), @MeganS, @LindsayMarum, and @MaxAdams.

We also have a dog named Stella who is sufficiently cute

Unfortunately, Max is moving to Palo Alto for business school, so he'll be leaving us around the end of June to do some travel before he starts. As such, we're looking for a new roommate! This market resolves to the first name and last initial of the person who ends up signing the lease (naming convention as a minimum, full name is also acceptable).

The basic details:

• Rent is something like $950-1,000, not sure yet

• Utilities are something between $50-100/month

• Parking is technically $75/month, but also optional since the Presidio never checks

• The room space is small, less than 1k sq. ft - you have to be ok with a small-ish space

• Good amount of common space / storage

• Ideally looking for someone to sign the lease with a reasonable path towards spending ~ a year with us

• Likely looking for someone male-presenting, since we already have 3 women / 1 man & like to keep it somewhat even (but we can be flexible on this for the right person!)

The softer details:

• We care a lot about the roommate dynamic, and it is important to us that whoever takes the spot "contributes" socially vs never leaving their room. We like to spend spontaneous time together chatting / playing games, and we also like to host (typically small) events with friends

• We try to keep the place clean, and we would expect high standards of cleanliness from whoever takes the room

What it's like to live with us

• Emily will expect you to eat her famous sourdough on occasion

• I play the violin occasionally, Megan plays the piano, and Emily/Lindsay like to sing, so there is often spontaneous live music

• 3-4 times a week we do evening beach walks or runs with whoever is interested; there are tons of beautiful walking trails around us and we are always saying something trite like "wow I can't believe we live here"

• We do roommate trips once every few months. We have been to Clearlake, Monterrey/Carmel, Lassen, and elsewhere. We're going on a cruise together in August :) (though sorry just the current roommates, already booked up...)

• We love having meaningful conversations together - we often find ourselves lounging on the enormous couch in our living room & chatting
