Resolves YES if by June 30, 2026, DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) publicly claims at least $100 billion in cumulative spending cuts, reductions, or savings confirmed by at least one independent source: (1) Government Accountability Office (GAO), (2) Congressional Budget Office (CBO), or (3) a major nonpartisan think tank (Brookings, CATO, Heritage, etc.).
Claims by DOGE alone without independent verification do not count. The verification must specifically attribute the savings to DOGE actions.
Resolves NO if no such independently verified figure reaches $100 billion by the deadline.
Context: As of February 2026, DOGE has claimed various spending reductions but independent verification of the actual savings amounts has been contested.
