From Sam Altman's blog post about Sora 2:
The majority of users, looking back on the past 6 months, should feel that their life is better for using Sora that [sic] it would have been if they hadn’t. If that’s not the case, we will make significant changes (and if we can’t fix it, we would discontinue offering the service).
6 months after the Sora launch (March 31), I will create a Manifold poll with 3 options:
I am not a Sora user
I am a Sora user; my life is better for using Sora
I am a Sora user; my life is not better for using Sora
After a week, if the number of people who chose "my life is better" outnumber those who chose "my life is not better," this market resolves YES; otherwise NO.
The intended definition of "Sora user" is something like "a person who semi-regularly uses the Sora app for the typical reasons people use apps - not ironically, for research, or just because they occasionally open links that lead to Sora videos." Ultimately this comes down to "do you identify as a Sora user?"
