Resolution criteria

This market predicts who will serve as Brazil's Minister of Finance (Ministro da Fazenda) under President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on February 1, 2027, at 12:00 PM Brasília time (UTC−3).

• The market resolves to the person officially holding the position on that date.

• The incumbent, Dario Durigan, qualifies if he remains in office.

• Announcements or nominations alone do not count unless the person has officially assumed office by the specified date.

• If the minister is temporarily absent, the formally appointed minister will count rather than the acting replacement.

• If the position is vacant, the person officially exercising the minister's duties at the specified time will count.

• If someone not listed among the options holds the position, the market resolves to "Other".

• Only one answer will resolve YES, with all other answers resolving NO.
