To resolve, I will employ the following criteria:
It features the facial likeness of the person, with a joke or observation which also involves manifold.markets . Inside jokes that require at least a passing knowledge of an aspect of the site or its culture are permitted (and would probably be funnier too.) (For example: "Destiny traders adjusting their perm stocks after a stream")
For it to be considered a meme, it must spread. Therefore I'll only be considering images or video on sites other than manifold.markets (For example: a twitter user posting the image out of context.)
To the extent possible, it should be in a context the "Bets By Anon" account is not involved in. This is to guard against someone just making one and sending it to me after betting. It is a bit shaky to prove, but if there is a winner, I'll be indicating the precise location I've seen it, to the extent anonymity permits.
I'll try not to go out of my way to look for it.
Sanity/effort: Memes can seem incoherent when they require insider knowlege. But it's also easy to be low-effort incoherent, without anything coherent backing it. I will create one or more additional markets to outsource judgment on ambiguous cases, the precise details of which will be decided at a later date.
