Will the demand from Germany to China to cease hiring former Luftwaffe pilots have any effect on Chinese policy?

The German government has promised to "immediately" shut down the training of Chinese fighter pilots by former German Luftwaffe aircrew in the latest development involving former personnel from a variety of NATO nations assisting Beijing's expanding air power ambitions. The movie comes after an expose in the German media that provide the details of how one particular former Luftwaffe officer – an ex euro fighter EF 2000 pilot had been recruited by China to share his expertise.

Market will resolve based on Chinese statements and any reasonably verifiable action on their part to curb the hiring and/or use of German military expertise.

How would this question resolve if Germany passed a law effectively making it illegal for ex-Luftwaffe pilots to work in China and China subsequently stopped employing them?

@BenEllis any thoughts?

@JoshuaWilkes Hey Josh, sorry I didn’t see this! I think, even in the unlikely case that Germany passed such a law, it wouldn’t necessarily affect whether or not China changed its behavior regarding attempting to attract German ex military personnel.
