I'm a bit curious about the premise of this. Were either of you planning on going vegan in the near future, making this more like a challenge, or is it rather "on the off chance either went vegan which would be first"

I was not planning on going vegan. My diet even allows the eating of beef (though I haven't actually done so in years).

(I bought some Bayesian shares before seeing the market description. Oops. Sold them immediately)

@jim My initial comment mentioned this and my brother thought it was in poor taste and I’m inclined to agree. I’m kinda wary of exploiting values differences. Maybe better is trying to convince me?

Notes that may be relevant: my diet contains few animal products. I eat vegan protein powder, soylent, bread + cereals, tons of nuts (eg peanuts, almond milk, peanut butter, etc), beans/lentils/etc, and pasta. Maybe 95% of the animal products I eat in volume are cheese, and for that I currently pay suffering offsets. I’m pretty satisfied with this situation, and would have a hard time dropping cheese, as my alimentation is already not super varied. Im currently having a hard time consuming enough protein. And I try to limit carbs to a minimum due to being diabetic, but that adds further constraints.

Opened to thoughts, suggestions, and arguments.
