Resolves N/A if it's not clear (such as if he takes some major alignment-changing action and it isn't stated where he ends up). If he gets true-killed it'll resolve to the alignment he has when he dies. Close date updated to 2023-01-01 11:59 pm Jul 5, 9:30pm: The person who no longer quite considers himself to be Keltham still counts as Keltham for the purposes of this market.

Sep 26, 10:45pm: If the alignment system no longer exists/functions, question resolved to the alignment Keltham has when it stops working.

Do people think this ought to be resolved for TN now or should it wait for the epilogue

@April I have posted a poll in the Eliezerfic Discord about this

I'm not going to resolve quite yet, but the answer seems clear now

Should I reopen this?

@April it seems like i had been so i will continue doing so

@YafahEdelman This will very plausibly be the case, but if so the question will resolve to the alignment he had when the system stopped working.

This is the best answer
Resolves N/A also if the entire alignment system gets removed in some way?
think it might be more interesting to have it resolve to whatever alignment he has prior to the system getting removed?
i'm worried he might, like, read chaotic evil due to unleashing rovagug but then do a bunch of really good things after the alignment system collapses, or something.
I think dath ilani are too fundamentally Lawful for him to be non-Lawful, and I suspect he'll do something extremely Good (or a lot of little Good things).
He seems to be aiming NE. Might stick.
Watsonianly, I think to the extent that laws are tied to specific people, allowing for people to pursue their own ambitions, the society demarcation of a friend as someone that isn't known to break oaths, and the ability to at a turn of dime for society to decide that these laws suck and we should do Something That Is Not This, Dath Ilan is actually reasonably chaotic good. Keltham Broke with Abadar hard, Which probably puts him on the right hand side of the alignment chart. Doylistically, his tag is Lawful Chaotic, I'd be surprised at the very least if his final alignment was Lawful by Golarion standards. Modrons Do Chaotic Good
