This market resolves YES if Mamdani releases new rap music (a song, EP, or album) under any moniker after the market creation date. Resolution requires verifiable release on a major streaming platform (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) or official announcement from Mamdani or his representatives. A feature on another artist's track counts. Deepfakes, AI-generated content, or unauthorized releases do not count.

Background

Mamdani rapped under the monikers Young Cardamom and Mr. Cardamom, collaborating with rapper HAB and releasing the single "Nani" in April 2019. In 2017, he released the song "Salaam" under his middle name, Zohran Kwame. His rap career is still past tense as of late 2025, though he appeared at Washington Square Park in a rap stream in late 2025.

Considerations

In October 2025, a song called "BENTON BUILD" credited a feature from Mr. Cardamom, but Mamdani's representatives confirmed it was not actually him. This demonstrates the potential for impersonation or false credits on streaming platforms.
