Anecdotally, most 5-year-olds I know would struggle to save money like this (especially if they are already impulsive spenders). I don't know how being raised by the sort of person who participates in prediction markets would affect that, though.

Well, with some creative funging and manifold's charity stream, I'm sure the house could help her out here.
She doesn't have a Manifold account, though I guess I wouldn't stop her from getting one, but I don't think Steam will take play money.
Is the kiddo allowed to bet YES on this market, and apply her winnings towards her purchase?
Saving up for video games is about the best way I can think of to teach a kid finances 😎
