Valve first released the steam deck in 2022. A revised model was released in 2023 called the Steam Deck OLED.

Valve has publically announced that the Steam Deck 2 is still a number of years out.

This question will resolve when Valve sends the first shipment of a new Steam Deck or if January 1 2029 is reached with no new Steam Deck.

New revisions include any steam deck with a new name and upgraded component.
