Resolution Criteria

The FIFA Young Player Award is given to the best player in the tournament who is at most 21 years old. This market resolves YES if Lamine Yamal wins the award at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the USA. Resolution will be determined by the official FIFA announcement following the tournament's conclusion. The award is voted on by the FIFA Technical Study Group and announced after the final match.

Background

Yamal played an important role in helping Spain win their fourth title at UEFA Euro 2024, while also winning the tournament's Young Player Award. He was named the world's best young player of the year as he won the 2024 Kopa Trophy due to his excellent displays for Barcelona and Spain.
