So @5bd4 , it look like everyone agrees now that this should resolve YES. Do you think we can get that resolution today? It would be nice to have some spare mana to play the EOY markets.

"The Iron Beam laser-based, air-defense system has been deployed in the field, the Defense Ministry reported Sunday."
@5bd4 what do you say? Iron Beam was declared operational and delivered to the IDF. Does that give us a YES? Or is there something else that needs to happen?
@Velaris in theory they should, it's supposed to be part of the country's sstanding defense system so why not set it up as soon as possible. But I doubt they are planning to make any more announcements about it
@AhronMaline As soon as possible, given that the plan described in previous articles is to integrate it with Iron Dome, a system they really don't want to have downtime or to break, might well be more than a few days- in fact that'd be pretty astonishingly fast and imply e.g. no further validation on receipt or training done post delivery before integration and deployment.
I think resolution probably ought to wait for some kind of announcement about validation, integration, and it being actually operational and functional in at least one location ("deployed"), to avoid e.g. later news on training and integration timelines in January indicating a misresolution.
@jbeshir Iron Dome is made and maintained by the same company, Rafael. My guess is that they would do the integration work between the two before "delivery". But I don't think there will be any announcement, either way.
@MindBenderMads They sure did that handover to the IDF as promised (but not on the 30th, @Kire_). Only remaining doubt is whether the IDF will "deploy" it before EOY, but that's (A) not very clearly defined, and (B) a military operations decision. Meaning they won't tell us how, where and when they're setting it up, at least not till they actually shoot something down with it.
So yeah, I think this should resolve YES
@Amichaylader I just made a really nice Mana profit betting the market up after seeing your post. So thank you! But why didn't you do so yourself?
@pureprofit Your link now goes to the IDF homepage, can you link directly to the tweet that matters?
@Quroe Thay may have already deployed it but chosen not to announce it? But seems unlikely since they did loudly announce they were planning to do it this month.
Also, many seem to think that the baby version that has been used against drones should be enough for a YES. I disagree, but I don't think OP has clarified on this.
@AhronMaline It seems more likely that they will not operate it but will announce it deployed to match prior promises.
@Kire_ well "operating" it would involve someone shooting rockets at Israel, and by now most of those rockets have been eliminated in other ways...
