This market predicts the official public release date of OpenAI's GPT-6.2 Astra model.
Resolution criteria:
The release must be officially announced by OpenAI or made publicly accessible through ChatGPT, Codex, or the OpenAI API.
Internal testing, leaked model identifiers, limited private previews, and unconfirmed rumors do not count.
The release date will be determined using Pacific Time (PT).
If the model is released under a different name, it will count only if OpenAI explicitly confirms it as the successor corresponding to GPT-6.2 Astra.
If the model is not released by December 31, 2026, the market resolves to "January 1, 2027 or later."
