A primary series for R21 consists of 3 doses spaced >1 month apart.
Resolves upon confirmed data from the WHO, UNICEF, Gavi, or another reliable source that includes the total number of doses administered in 2024. If multiple reliable sources are available and provide different numbers, a best effort will be made by the 1Day Sooner team to resolve the difference before averaging the numbers. If no clear data is available by July 1st, 2025, a best estimate will be made by the 1Day Sooner team in conjunction with available experts from the above sources.
1Day Sooner has an R21 Status Report available here that may be useful.

Notes on the Resolved choice: 1Day Sooner's current estimates, based on publicly available tracked data, indicate that 10.274 million doses of R21 have been delivered. There is no publicly available data on how many of the delivered vaccines have been administered. The reports we have been tracking have included ‘the launch’ of the rollouts in the countries. Informed by our vaccine deliveries tracking and engagements with local authorities, we have concluded that the distributed vaccines are not less than 8 million doses. This therefore resolves to 8-14 million doses distributed.
