Resolution Criteria

The men's Olympic ice hockey tournament gold medal game will be held on February 22, 2026. This market resolves to whichever country wins the men's gold medal. Results will be verified via the official Olympics website at https://www.olympics.com/en/milano-cortina-2026/sports/ice-hockey

The NHL will participate in the Olympics for the first time since 2014, significantly elevating the quality of competition. Canada is favored to win its first gold medal since 2014, with Sidney Crosby at age 38 looking to win his third gold medal as the only holdover from the 2014 team. The United States will look to claim their first medal since 2010, when they won silver. Canada won the last two Olympic tournaments with NHL players in 2010 and 2014. Russia and Belarus are banned from competing due to the countries' invasion of Ukraine.
