I'm spending the next month on the east coast with my family. I've packed this library book in my highly constrained carry-on luggage; it was recommended to me by a friend some years ago, and I've started it once or twice, though I'll certainly be starting from the beginning if I do open it.

If I do fail to read it (i.e. fully finish it), I'd like this market to serve as a monument to my foolishness.
