Background

The lawsuit involves allegations against a JPMorgan Chase banker, Chirayu Rana, centered on claims of sexual misconduct described in filings as a "sex slave" suit. Recent reports indicate the litigation has drawn significant attention due to the high-stakes nature of the accusations and counter-allegations regarding the legitimacy of the claims and the motivation behind the plaintiff's multi-million dollar settlement demands.

Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if the lawsuit brought against the JPMC banker regarding allegations of being a "sex slave" results in a favorable economic outcome for the plaintiff, defined as a final court-ordered judgment in favor of the plaintiff or a formal settlement agreement where the plaintiff receives a monetary payment. If a payoff is made via arbitration and it is confirmed publicly by plaintiff or is otherwise verifiable it will be counted as a win.

The market resolves to NO if the case is dismissed, if the banker prevails with no monetary award to the plaintiff, or if the case is dropped without a payout to the plaintiff.

Resolution will be determined by official court filings available through the New York State Courts Electronic Filing (NYSCEF) system or reports from credible financial news outlets (e.g., Financial Times, Wall Street Journal) confirming the final disposition of the case.
