Will Maxwell Jacob Friedman's current AEW World Championship reign last through the conclusion of Full Gear 2023?

Resolved
YES

Feel free to ask for clarification in the comments!

Resolves to YES if neither an "AND NEW" champion nor a title vacancy is announced by AEW officals between now and the end of broadcast for the 2023 Full Gear pay-per-view. If MJF "leaves the company" with the title or something else weird happens, that doesn't count as an end-of-reign unless one of the two previous announcements also occurs.

@Panfilo The Fred Norris Lock of the Week (TM) can now resolve YES as was foretold.

predictedYES

Smart money seems to be in.

Does anyone think even a booker as bad as Anfernee Khan would put MJF over Jay White? This is a Fred Norris Lock of the Week (TM).

I mean they also might hotshot Kenny. It's plausible.

predictedYES

@Panfilo Even Tony Khan isn't a bad enough booker to make his most bankable star lose so quickly, esp after being charged with allowing anti-Semitic sentiments on his tv. This is a free money market.

(Exactly what I thought about all the money I lost in Speaker markets. )

predictedNO

@FrederickNorris The anti-semitism angle was MJF's idea and it actually seemed interesting, it just had the worst luck of timing imaginable. I do wish the fall guy wasn't Juice though, he's supposed to be the fun kind of stupid.

predictedYES

@Panfilo I'm not complaining about the angle. Talk about timing though, it makes absolute ZERO POINT ZERO sense to take the title off MJF for a myriad of reasons, this being one.

predictedNO

@FrederickNorris My only hope is that this isn't AEW's version of when WWE made a liberal Muslim ex-cop the secret leader of Antifa.

predictedYES

@Panfilo Why didn't Adeel Alam got to AEW yet? Seems like he could be a real leader of the smaller guys that are over there. I'd love to see him beat up the YB.

predictedYES

@Panfilo MJF will defend his World title against Kenny Omega in a match announced during Wednesday's Dynamite episode.

Omega interrupted an MJF segment and the match was set based on MJF being set to eclipse Omega's record AEW World title reign of 346 days. MJF has currently held the World title for 341 days.

predictedYES

@Panfilo They did not hotshot Kenny, although they've certainly cooled off MJF. The worst thing Tony could do now is take the strap off of him.

New AEW market

Looks like Jay White is the opponent for FG, and suddenly 81% felt a little high!

@Panfilo They are not putting the big title on the Switchblade. He should be a tag team wrestler. Tony is a terrible booker, and that's a fact.
