Why Transfer?

I want an engineering education where ethics and technical skill are inseparable, because in modern medicine, survival gets auctioned to the highest bidder—and I've caught myself holding the gavel. I've repeatedly faced choices between well-funded, easier markets and the vulnerable populations I actually want to serve, redirecting both my ventures toward low-resource deployment despite slower growth and skeptical investors. My current institution has given me incredible opportunities, but I keep hitting points where technical ambition diverges from moral purpose, and I need more than intuition to navigate them. I need peers who've lived in the communities I'm building for, programs where ethics is foundational rather than an afterthought, and infrastructure that turns prototypes into interventions serving those who need them most {AI generated summary of application focus}
