Kabosu (known by the internets as Doge) is a highly publicized female Shiba Inu dog from Japan. Photos taken of her in 2010 went viral in 2013 and remained relevant for several years thereafter.

Kabosu was born on November 2, 2005, making her 18 years old in 2024 and already outliving most Shibas. Kabosu was revealed to be very ill with leukemia in late 2022, but made a surprise recovery shortly thereafter.

Resolves YES if there is Kabosu can be reasonably believed to be alive at the end of 2024. Kabosu’s owner is active on social media and Kabosu is reported in news media from time to time.
