Question resolves "Yes" if I hit this exercise target in at least 6 of the next 8 weeks.
Background: I got a Fitbit two weeks ago and accepted the goals it gave me.
This meant I increased my activity level quite a bit. I think I can maintain it, but I'm guessing that a lot of people reduce their activity after the novelty of exercising with their Fitbit wears off... care to bet?
I earned 124 minutes in my first week and then crushed it with 322 last week. If I had to guess about my median number of weekly minutes before getting the Fitbit I would say 100 minutes.
More details: American Heart Association says to aim for 150 minutes activity per week or 75 minutes of vigorous activity.
Fitbit's "Active Zone Minutes" are the time you spend with a heartrate corresponding to aerobic exercise. You receive 2X "active zone minutes" for time you spend in a higher intensity workout (as measured by hearrate). https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1565.htm
