The "8 On The Break" arcade in Dunellen, NJ is thought to be the longest running continuously operated arcade in the United States. The Break was founded in 1973 as a billiard hall, eventually adding pinball and video games. I used to frequent the Break as a tournament organizer for Super Smash Bros Melee. In 2023 they celebrated their 50th anniversary. Will The Break make it to 60 years?
