Tough decision. Umbridge is fundamentally a follower not a leader, and has no core principles except maybe authoritarianism. So I could imagine her governing anywhere from authoritarian left to authoritarian right on the usual US political spectrum. Worst case, she does more damage than Trump by implementing bad policies more competently. Best case, she governs more like the median voter for the sake of reelection, which is much better than Trump. Overall I think I see more upside than downside for Umbridge compared to Trump.

@gregrosent does not look to me she would care about reelection. She would pressure all the institutes in the country into accepting policies which allow her to stay indefinitely.

@KongoLandwalker It's not obvious to me that Umbridge has that kind of ambition. And even if she did, I think she's smart enough to know it's unrealistic and could backfire on her.
