YES

I often deactivate my account to take some space from the site - usually a matter of a day or two, up to a week or two. Twitter allows you to deactivate and deactivate within 30 days.

oftentimes when I return, my page will briefly (a matter of minutes, really) show a 0/0 count for following and followers, but they're restored.

I briefly deactivated recently and deactivated around 24hr ago. I didn't notice the counts, and I'm typically in the For You feed by default (measure of an insane person, I know, but let's just gloss over that for now). a few hours ago, I tried to browse my Following feed and had only my own posts and reposts there. that's when I noticed the issue. I visited a few friends pages to see if it was a display glitch, and it's true that none of the accounts show that I'm following them, or they're following me.

I have a legacy blue check from paying a while back for a year up front, so I've written to the Premium account for help (lol). to my shock, they replied! but unsurprisingly, in a way that missed the point entirely:

I've replied again. I've also pointed it out to a friend (s/o @bens) who followed me again, I got the notif, but my counts are still at 0 and visiting his page shows neither of us are following one another. I've also mentioned this in a message to support.

twitter support is famously non-existent since the Elon takeover. will they fix my account within 72hr of market creation? (market close ~730a PT on Sunday 20 April)
