From her event page, it looks like Marianne will be in Matt's area in the coming days - will he take this opportunity to see and meet her? Will he find other opportunities to express his enthusiasm to her directly in the coming days/weeks/months?
Photo or video evidence would be preferred but I trust Matt's integrity and will take his word for it.
Resolves at whichever happens first:
Matt meets Marianne - yes
She drops out of the race/is not selected as the candidate (if she is the candidate but loses the election, the market remains open) - no
Inauguration Day - no
A meeting includes: shaking hands, getting a photo together, having a book (or other item) signed, etc. Matt doesn't need to have a conversation or introduce himself to her. If he finds himself in a scenario where a small number (~30?) of people are selected to be in close proximity to Marianne and she addresses them for a conversation even as a group, I will consider this a meeting for the purpose of this market.
A meeting is not an attended rally where he is simply in the crowd, or happens to make eye contact with her, she walks directly past him, etc.

Did that, met her outside and we shook hands and I introduced myself (censored for my pseudonymity)
having a book (or other item) signed, etc.
I did get a hat, a shirt, and some signs, but there wasn’t a good chance to get any of it signed.

Only 21 people showed up, so I guess this would’ve resolved YES too. I also asked her a question and got a mostly decent reply.
