You know those mostly male boomers who try to play stupid power games by squeezing your hand until it's a smashed potato? Normally, they let go after about 5 seconds when they see they are not doing sh**. However, there are some psychos who just keep holding your hand, and it gets super socially awkward (especially in a group) when it lasts over ten seconds. (Like c'mmon, we are not a couple) You start to react by doing the same just with some more force because you're not a boomer, and then they immediately let go and stare at you all evening. Those are Lion-certified psychos.

Otherwise I think the psychology behind handshakes is completly overrated.
