This market is an experimental commitment device regarding a personal goal to study 5 hours per day for seven days. Note that I'll probably fail and you should bet against me, though I may just be saying that because a low probability motivates me.
Timeframe
2025-12-06 to 2025-12-12, inclusive, subject to extension as noted in Exceptions.
Study Definition
Studying includes independent learning and lectures.
All hours must be with full focus; no multitasking is allowed while attending lectures.
On days without lectures, working on legal opinions must be the primary focus, consisting of a minimum of three hours of the daily five-hour total.
Exceptions
If I am physically ill enough to require bedrest, that day is skipped and the market duration is extended by one day for each sick day to ensure a total of seven active study days.
Resolution criteria
YES if I complete at least 5 hours of qualifying study (as defined above) for seven active days.
NO if I fail to meet the 5-hour quota (or the specific allocation requirements for non-lecture days) on any single active day.
