I use markets like this as commitment devices to help me manage my chronic depression. I successfully ran this market over the period of one month, in July.

Two rules apply:

• if I don't spend the day at home, that day doesn't count

• I can work ahead for the next day, e.g. if I clean for 40 minutes, I don't have to clean the next day

I will not bet on this market.

@Quroe It's going well. Before my water pipe burst last week, I measured the 20 minutes every day with a stopwatch. Due to the accident, this was not necessary for a while because I had to invest a lot more time. But I will now start measuring again.

After this market expires, I plan to renew it and extend it to a whole year. I'll adapt the Manifold streak rules, which will allow me to break the streak once a month.

I need to clean my house, too.
