@strutheo I chose that because i consider tf2 to be dead and it was around #10 when I checked. I wouldn't really call that dead either because of the non-dead games below that, but I think this market would be less meaningful if I cut off at like #120 or so, where I would actually call a game dead.
Maybe I could have chosen criteria based on player retention like % of peak players but i was too lazy to figure out what a good number for that is
With all that in mind, I probably should have chosen a different title but this one is a direct quote I've heard from a few different people, and I think those people would think it would be humiliating for Palworld if it soon had less players than tf2 or RUST (a direct competitor, also near #10)
@pkpr fair enough, i'd just be clear in the description. 'dead' can mean a lot of things to different people. and everyone uses 'dead game' as a meme so often
