Materia Collective currently holds the distribution rights ("under license") to the soundtrack for UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE.

Recently, there's been some drama regarding Materia filing copyright claims against Undertale Yellow's music. People have brought up the possibility of the composer, Toby Fox, buying back the rights to his music.

This market resolves NO if, for any 72 hour period during 2024 (EST):
-There is ANY publicly released song (or songs) from the official Undertale or Deltarune soundtrack, which

-Materia Collective does not have the rights to and does not have a license for.

Additionally, If Sebastian Wolff (Materia's CEO) is no longer at Materia for any 72 hour period, this resolves NO. If Materia changes its name or Sebastian switches to a different company, the conditions here now apply to that company.

This resolves YES if the above NO conditions are not met by January 1st, 2025 (EST)

Keep in mind: I'm not counting previews or rejected songs that Toby often releases outside of the soundtracks themselves. I think it should be fairly obvious what counts as an "official" soundtrack.

Update: Toby has called Sebastian's behavior "unprofessional," donated money to charity, and says he's going to create clearer guidelines on how to use/license UNDERTALE's audio.

The Undertale Yellow team released this statement on their Twitter, which basically says they resolved the situation after talking with Materia and Toby.

@nottelling2ccc Well, dude keeps clapping back I guess? Also, they apparently received bomb threats. For a resolved situation, this feels very unresolved.

I’m realizing that YES and NO in the description should be swapped to make the market say what I actually mean. Sorry! I’ll fit it.

@nottelling2ccc Should be fixed now, unless there’s another silly error.
