Market Dates:
Market Period: From the publication date through November 26, 2025, at 05:00 PM PT.
Market Closing: November 26, 2025, at 05:00 PM PT ahead of the launch of Part 1 of Stranger Things Season 5.
Resolution Deadline: The resolution will be determined after the entire Season 5 of Stranger Things is available on Netflix.
Market Dates Specifications:
If the market does not resolve to “Yes” after the release of Part 1 of Stranger Things Season 5 then:
It will re-open for trading, and,
Close again before the release of Part 2.
If the market still does not resolve after the release of Part 2 then:
It will re-open again for trading, and,
Close before the release of Part 3, after which final resolution will occur.
Resolution and re-opening in any case will occur at least 24 hours after each release to avoid spoilers.
Resolution Criteria:
The market only resolves to “Yes” if there is clear, on-screen confirmation of Steve Harringtons death.
This market resolves to “No” if Steve Harrington survives Season 5 of Stranger Things.
Resolution Details:
Steve Harrington will be considered to have survived as long as he is showing signs of life. Such signs are active movement, vocalization, or vital signs.
Injuries that are incompatible with life will trigger a “Yes” resolve.
Visible breathing alone will not count as actors are often seen breathing when portraying death.
An ambiguous outcome—such as his disappearance, an off-screen fate, or any unclear status—will not qualify as “Yes”.
Cancelation/Invalidity Details:
Season 5 of Stranger Things is canceled or postponed indefinitely.
Netflix does not upload Season 5 of Stranger Things.
In the event of cancelation, participants may claim their stakes at the market value of their open positions at the time of cancelation. This could result in a profit or a loss, depending on the price of their outstanding shares.
