Will a studio (presumably Apple Studios) announce another movie in the Argylle franchise by June 30th?

Doesn’t matter if it’s a prequel, sequel, spin-off, reboot…etc. But it must be connected to Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle (2024).

Now, ahead of the Argylle release date, a prequel focused on Cavill's spy is reportedly in development with the lead actor already cast. According to Deadline's Baz Bamigboye, there is hope of launching an Argylle series featuring a younger version of Cavill's titular spy played by Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge. In addition, Vaughn wants to work with Howard, Rockwell, and Cavill again, and there are plans for more Argylle movies.

Argylle is intended to start a franchise based on a series of unpublished books by first-time author Elly Conway, who acts as the in-universe author of the Argylle novels. The first film, according to director Matthew Vaughn, is based on the fourth novel in the series, while the second movie would be based on the first book and explore the origins of Argylle becoming a spy. It's unclear, given the new report of a prequel series, if these are still the plans for the sequel.
