Deflation is a year-on-year decrease of prices. The ECB targets an inflation of 2% in the EU. In December 2023, EuroStat reports (prc_hicp_manr) an inflation rate of 3.4%.

Resolves YES immediately if the prc_hicp_manr is below 0.0% for any month of 2024.

Resolves NO if the prc_hicp_manr is 0.0% or higher in all months of 2024.
