The 51-year-old is said to have approached a ten-year-old boy on Röhrer Weg in Böblingen around 8 a.m. and dragged him into a VW bus. Two witnesses became aware of the boy's cries for help, freed him from the vehicle and held the suspect until the police arrived.
The 51-year-old was temporarily arrested and is currently in police custody. The investigation into the background is currently ongoing. The suspect will be brought before a judge on Thursday. (german source archived)
