The U.K. government is considering using Section 35 of the Scotland Act to block a law passed by the Scottish Parliament that makes it easier for people to legally change their gender. This power has never been used before; if the government triggers Section 35 to block the bill or any part of it within the 28-day deadline, this will resolve to YES.
If the use of Section 35 is challenged in court, this will still resolve to YES.
