All AI is good at is writing code and making lifeless porn. Only once you start working with AI and neural networks you realize how shallow it is

@thepurplebull I have had opposite experience - seemed shallow at first - just good at a few things. Put massive amount of work into creating agents - extremely impressed.

Underhyped, surprisingly. There's probably a valley of disappointment ahead of us still, but AI is going to reshape economies and societies as much or more than the Internet did. It's a "printing press" or "mass manufactured automobile" level of advancement.
