This market resolves to my official GPA upon me graduating with my M.A.; I will provide a (censored) screenshot of my unofficial transcript as proof.

I will bet YES on "4.0" and NO on "3.3 to 3.49" and "Below 3.3" as incentive for myself, but otherwise won't bet on this market.

Additional context

My GPA in undergrad was a 3.94; in the classes I completed for my geography minor and GIS minor, it was a 4.0. (It was close to a 4.0 in the classes I completed for my political science major, but I got one A- in a poli sci class - IIRC, it ended up around 3.97 or something like that.) I am pursuing an M.A. in geography.

There is no way to get a GPA higher than 4.0 at my university, as far as I'm aware. I have gotten more than 100% in a few classes (thanks to doing extra credit that I didn't have to do) and all were still entered as "A - 4.0" in the system.

My university uses the following system:

  • A = 4.0

  • A- = 3.7

  • B+ = 3.3

  • B = 3.0

  • B- = 2.7

  • etc.

I plan on graduating in June of 2025; if I do, then I should have access to my final grades on June 19, 2025.
