That doesn't mean it won't be known in the future...

The question title specifies “based on evidence available 30 days later”

I would argue it could be self-directed and self-staged attempt.

Basically ask Qui Bono:
+ security is beefed up after that (so likely no real successful attempts)
+ makes more likely to generate sympathy for the face sitters
+ martyr/savior image inside GOP

Some facts:
+ young loner guy easy to manipulate
+ known to be bad at shooting straight
+ was visible for a time - no one took action

+ although hundreds of cameras no recording of the hit - we only see bleeding after lying down for a while
+ no medical testimony of the actual shot
+ secret service lets his get up with his head exposed (to make a photo-op)

Looking how sinister the people are and how high stakes the game nothing suprises me any more so it is in the realm of possibility.

Some countries who are keen on having GOP/T president: Russia, Israel, Saudi-Arabia etc.

I’d say right now there is essentially no evidence it was staged but we’ll see what surfaces after 30 days.

I agree. Let's see.

Btw. have you seen any footage from the other side of the former president / there were bunch of people sitting on the stage with cameras out. I have seen zero footage.

One video which brings out all the suspicious things that dont add up.

Thanks for the link, very informative.

So far the only piece of evidence that screams “democrat”:

he was often mocked by other students […] for continuing to wear a mask after the COVID pandemic was over.

Mostly joking, don’t really think there was political motivation.

bought Ṁ50 YES

Even after breaking into his phone and searching his computer, officials still haven't found evidence that would suggest political or ideological impetus for the shooting, law enforcement sources told CNN.

bought Ṁ51 NO

I'd guess that "already suicidal and wanted to go out with a bang" is the most likely motivation at this point.

A third classmate, who asked not to be named, said that Crooks was very smart, took honors classes, and was shy. She said that he had a group of friends who were fairly conservative, some of whom would wear Trump hats.

Another ex-Bethel Park student, Max Ryan Smith, recalled him as an intelligent student with conservative political leanings.

Smith recalled participating in a mock debate with Crooks in an American history course in which the teacher had students stand on opposite sides of the classroom to signal their support or opposition.

“The majority of the class were on the liberal side, but Tom, no matter what, always stood his ground on the conservative side,” Smith said. “That’s still the picture I have of him. Just standing alone on one side while the rest of the class was on the other ... It makes me wonder why he would carry out an assassination attempt on the conservative candidate.”

Former classmates of the suspected shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, described him to ABC News as a student who was "quiet" and did not have many friends.

"He was somebody who came across as lonely a lot," said Jameson Myers, who said he attended both elementary and high school with Crooks.

Myers described him as "more socially reserved" and someone who "didn't have a ton of friends."

But he said he never heard Crooks discuss politics or, specifically, Donald Trump.

"I was friends with him. He never acted, like, by any means, a political revolutionary," Myers said. "Was a very nice, even sweet guy, from what I knew."

The only link with the character is that he appeared in Black Rock ad that they have now pulled from the web.

What does "Trump fan, but lost all his money on the social network or some other of Trumps scams" count as?

Depending on what evidence exists that may be considered a personal grievance (non-partisan)

That counts as being motivated from the right

hm, I would want those separate, as someone could be right-wing in some sense but want Trump out. there aren't simply two ways people can want the country to go!

Not real @BTE

There are lots of ways people could "want the country to go" within the country's two-party system but this isn't about a particular narrative

People broadly care about which of the two partisan poles the motivations are nearest and this market is pointed at that
