This market will resolve to YES, if in February 2023 President Biden mentions:
"UFO",
"UAP",
"unidentified flying object",
"unidentified aerial phenomenon", or
"aliens",
in one of his official statements (press conference, event remarks etc.) as transcribed at https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/.

@Odoacre To be honest - I'm not sure. Biden didn't mention any of the listed words exactly...
@itsTomekK that's right, he said: "unidentified aerial objects" which is a mix of UFO and UAP, but essentially means the same thing
@Odoacre He also said ‘the phenomenon of unidentified aerial objects’. This seems totally in the spirit of the question. I have no stake (yet) but I think this should count.
@kitkatmarty the title says "talks about UFOs". He did. Expecting a specific strings to appear in a specific order is silly. The meaning is what's important
Do you want a repeat of the ridiculous covid 19 market where everyone knows the thing happened but because of some technicality the market claims the opposite?
@itsTomekK if you do, do you mind changing the title to "will Biden pronounce these words" ? As that's what the market is actually about
@NicoDelon I see, well I think it clearly states precise strings of words so if no exact strings were said it should close to No
@kitkatmarty it does not say the listed strings of words are exhaustive or that they must be matched exactly. It's really just common sense that the mention of UAOs is what this market was about. Resolving NO would be ridiculous.
@Odoacre I just read the description again and it clearly says if mentions,
And ending with; or aliens.
If it was ending with; or synonyms
Then it would be different,
"Unidentified Aerial Object"
or
"UAO"
Is not in list of strings.
There is definitely an ambiguity but I believe because a limited list of strings was provided it should be the clarity on what this markets resolve.

@Odoacre Also the OP previously answered you this: To be honest - I'm not sure. Biden didn't mention any of the listed words exactly...
@kitkatmarty so by this reasoning if Biden had said an he had been contacted by an alien, singular, you would still have pressed for NO on the ground it's not "aliens", plural.
UFO, UAP, UAO, it's the same thing.
How sad that we are even quibbling about this.
