I'm taking the AIME next week and am hoping to get into USAJMO, will I qualify this year (spoiler alert no)? For context my AMC10A score is [redacted], and I average 8-10 on practice tests (but I consistently do a lot worse in the real test than practices ;-;).

Resolves as expected.

If this market resolves as anything other than NO, I will dye my hair blue.

@ithildulin Well its probably around 210-215 to qual, so you need 10 at least, probably 11. Cutoffs were relatively high this year too, so 11 more likely than not...

@pg Weren’t they low this year? This is the second year ever where AMC 10 AIME cutoffs were under 100.

@HannahFox Well sure, but the cutoffs don't really matter for qualis bc the top people are still getting top scores, it has a lot more to due with the level of difficulty of the really hard questions, which I got the sense was about middling this year
