As per the AP, on Feb 16 lawyers for the Trump Administration asked the Supreme Court lift a federal judge’s court order temporarily reinstating Hampton Dellinger as the leader of the Office of Special Counsel, the federal agency dedicated to protecting whistleblowers.
This question will resolve YES if the court permits the firing of Hampton Dellinger, regardless of whether they officially rule in favor of the Trump Administration or not. This question will resolve NO if the initial attempt to fire Hampton Dellinger remains blocked after the Supreme Court rules, regardless of whether he is later fired by other means.
