Here they are freshly planted! I've never grown anything from seed so honestly not very likely this will work. I won't be betting no, though.

> This plant prefers well-drained, black (high organic content) soil. If starting outdoors, the seeds should not be exposed to cold weather, so start after last frost. Seeds need direct sunlight to germinate, so should not be buried.

Where are you located? Are you keeping them in direct sunlight? 🧐
@cos Denver, CO! I looked at some directions but they didn't mention not burying them, hmm. There won't be any more frosts and they'll be in full sunlight but I might move them to the sunniest spot I can find now that I see they shouldn't even be buried.
@ian I'm betting NO at the moment, but I'm hoping for YES! Szechuan buttons are delicious. Some more DD: how did you acquire these seeds?
@cos Getting there! Only two seeds survived to sprout out of the 4 I planted https://photos.app.goo.gl/ebUHrEBEefVyKBVDA
@ian Ooh, yay! Congrats!!! Still going to hold onto my bet to keep you honest, though. 🧐
