Update as of January 16, 2024: Neither the New York State Department of Health nor the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has released final case numbers for 2023. Based on prior years, the official 2023 report for the state of New York, including New York City, is expected in the first quarter of this year. Will resolve earlier if an official spokesperson of either department confirms the number of cases.
Will resolve against the reported number in the Annual Tuberculosis Summary, 2023, unless at least 701 cases are earlier announced by an official spokesperson of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
